Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes conduct that is prohibited when using Questing RL. These rules protect our users, our platform, and the communities where hunts and tours take place.

1. Safety

• Do not place hunt stops in locations that require trespassing on private property without explicit permission from the property owner.
• Do not create routes that require participants to cross dangerous terrain, traffic, or areas with known hazards without clear warnings.
• Do not design hunts that could mislead participants into unsafe situations.
• Do not use the app while driving, cycling on public roads, or operating any vehicle or machinery.
• Always be aware of your physical surroundings when using GPS features.

2. Privacy and Consent

• Do not use GPS or location features to track, monitor, or surveil another person without their explicit, informed consent.
• Do not include photos of identifiable individuals in hunt reveals or Shared Journeys without their consent.
• Do not create hunts on private property — including residential neighborhoods, corporate campuses, or restricted areas — without written permission from the property owner or authorized representative.

3. Content Standards

• Do not create clues, narration, or content that is obscene, sexually explicit, or pornographic.
• Do not create content that harasses, threatens, or demeans any individual or group.
• Do not create content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
• Do not create content that glorifies or promotes illegal activity.
• Do not include content that infringes any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

4. Platform Integrity

• Do not attempt to manipulate hunt scoring, leaderboards, or evaluation systems.
• Do not create fake accounts or impersonate other users or organizations.
• Do not use automated tools to create content or interact with the Service.
• Do not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems.

5. Commercial Use

• Creator subscriptions may be used to create hunts and tours for your organization, employer, clients, or community.
• You may not resell access to the Service or represent yourself as an authorized reseller without written agreement with Questing RL LLC.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination without refund. We reserve the right to report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.
